My pleasure. I do like both these reds a lot! Obviously the famous Jewel Box has laeila in it as well.
I've never grown a laeila species, but because of your stunner, I am now seriously considering it!
I took uber pics back in the day when I was using arguably the best single lens reflex (partly automated but, I never used those features) Minolta ever made. But that was long ago. Film...is mostly ovah. Tho wild horses could not make me part with that Minollta or any of its lenses.
Neither my sad little Nikon nor my phone can approach what the Minolta could. Course, I am always on the move, so slowing down would help a lot, in making images. I do it only for those who live far away....people who only visit infrequently.
DSLR cameras cost an arm and a leg. I would rather spend money on an i7 Haswell chip....which I did.

Kind of you, but I only accept deserved compliments.
Trust me, I have killed my share of orchids (an orchid tending surrogate also killed some of my favs).....and, while, being creative (forget handy), I have potentiated every element, the limitations of my growing indoors are what they are!
But I am also not an ingrate, so I am grateful ongoing for being able to do what I have earned the privilege of doing!
I do like red. My mom said, in the DELIVERY ROOM, she got I was left handed, liked red....and would never shut up.

I killed one so far, that's why I joined the board so I could learn. An you do well at giving your orchids the care they need. We all know that, so enjoy the compliment as I hope some day I to can say I raised some healthly orchids that are my favorites.

You will; you already are! It's a journey. My take, getting your focus and level of caring and acuity.....you are well on your way. Just be fully present this hour of this day. I think you are doing really, really well!

Late edit: I suddenly remembered, the pic of my cherished Paph eric 'pittsburg'...shows my Dark Waters during its last bloom in the background! And, with perfect color fidelity re the clear, vivid red.
I just kinda circled it in blue:

I think I'm going to have to employ more hanging for sure now. I believe doing so would allow me to utilize more space and more efficiently. I think I can get more available light too. Actually I just ordered some Kelpmax, net pots, & wire hangers...he he he...
I have Jewel Box 'Dark Waters' btw!! That was my first Catt because it is so beautiful and compact. Now I have more mini Catts than anything else...lol...
