Default OMG, my Paphiopedilum Delrosi is spiking!!!

As I normally like to do, I was peeking into the center of the growth on my Delrosi and there's this little dark thing deep in there.

Maybe wishful thinking, but I believe it is a low spike unless some dirt got stuck in there.

I guess time will tell.

Please let it be a spike!

Congratulations! I have read here and there that Delrosi is a reluctant bloomer—for whatever reason.

Looking forward to seeing this beautiful rothschildianum hybrid in full bloom for you !

Yeah, pretty much all the multi & parvi (or brachy) hybrids can be such a diva or runt, unless you get lucky with a nice plant that blooms regularly.

Mine might take years before the second bloom, but let's hope not. lol

Now the long anticipation begins until the day I see the open flowers. This is my first roth/parvi hybrid to flower, so I really don't know how long it will be from now, but excited!!

I think my paph. Dollgoldi is also spiking, but again, it could a leaf or a dirt.

Now I should get Harold Koopowitz and Gloria Naugle to complete the set!

I love the photos of Gloria Naugle I have seen, gorgeous.

I have seen H Koopowitz in person and was amazed at the sheer size of the plants. You should definitely get them both!

The dark spike sheath is emerging very very slowly.
Now this plant is one of my major focus with all the care and attention I can give.

BTW, the thing on my Dollgoldi turned out a new leaf, not a spike, but hey, at least it is growing. hahaha

I know. When I saw a nice one, I just wanted to grab and run really fast.
