Default Who Got Orchids For Christmas?

I did! I must have been a good girl this year. Santa brought me a Blc. Chin Lin 'New City'. It's a standard Catt, and is supposed to have a large burgundy colored flower with lots of floof. I'm going to have to make some room in the grow area for this one. It's a biggie. Mom was very clever. She bought it in bloom and had the presence of mind to take a picture of it as soon as she got it home. The next day it promply dropped it's flowers. She printed out a picture of the blooms and tied it to the stake.

Looks like the name was spelled wrong on the tag. Should be Blc. Chia Lin 'New City' AM/AOS. Even better!

Nice gifts!!!!! I'm so jealous! I did not get any orchids or anything to do with orchids. I must have been a bad girl.
Hmmmm, note to self: Trip to Woodsprites Orchids this weekend. I'm awful, but I have been trying so hard to be good and not buy any orchids before Christmas.....but now that Christmas is over.....don't anyone get my way! kiki-do

I guess a Trader Joe's gift card would qualify. They have some really lovely plants upon occasion. The Pecorino Romano will have to wait for a while.

Terri, that's a beautiful plant! Mom's got great taste...and she's quite clever too! Love the idea of pictures hanging on the plant!

I got the shirt my MIL embroidered for me with the orchids on it along with a huge ceramic bullfrog for the orchid room and I will be getting my Christmas gifts from hubby in 27 days at the WOC

I am the happy recipient of a Carmela's gift certificate, a nice humidifier with humidistat, and a cute, mini hydroponic kit. Guess somebody loves me!

Dave,
I planted a couple of Double delight roses, but the flowers aren't the color they are supposed to be

I must have been bad as well, no orchids or anything to do with orchids. I bought my self a Mist King System that arrived just before Christmas and my hubby installed it for me! He is to afraid to buy in an orchid, he claims I may not like what he pics out...lol....like that is ever possible!

Default My wife and I received 4 Catts

at our Orchid Society Christmas Party. Two are blooming now, and I am sure that the other two will take some time. Maybe next year.
