San Diego county Fair educational display

Hi kids, I wanted to share the display the three orchid clubs here in San Diego California put on at our local county fair. The San Diego Orchid Society, Palomar Orchid Club, and the San Diego Cymbidium Society all put on this educational display displaying insects that pollenate orchids and an orchid green house filled with cattleyas, oncidiums, miltoniopsis, tolumnias, phals, and a few other mounted orchids. It was well attended. There were visitors all day long with lots of kids learning about how insects pollenate orchids and playing with our iunsect puzzles. The display was built by Lico's Orchids. We had a blast.

I'm sitting the display every Saturday and some Sundays through the 4th of July. It is nice to help folks with their orchids and show non orchid folks how beautiful they are and how easy it is to grow them.
