Nice collection! Too bad there's all that open space but I can understand why they would set those boundaries.

Meanwhile I think there's plenty you can do to accommodate these new guys. More hanging pots and contraptions like you said and probably some shelf units too, would be good to use up more space vertically. Corner shelving units?

If you have bright window, you can consider going layers.
I got a small rack from contrainer store and put it by my window.
There are orchids sitting on top, and some underneath. mostly small ones.
