First Orchid Society Meeting (LOTS OF PICS!!!)

A few months ago I found out my city does have a local orchid society. But I couldn't go before because of schedule conflicts. Well, my Wednesday evenings opened back up fairly recently, so I was able to go to my first meeting.

And... well, for at least the last 8 months, since I got my first orchid (actually probably long before that, but I wasn't paying attention before), literally everywhere I'd gone before that had orchids, only ever had Phals. Being a member of OB, I of course knew there were many other types, but I never saw any in person besides Phals.

So as you can imagine, my phone's camera had a real field day.



































This cute Den. nobile came home with me. My first non-Phal orchid.

Awesome. So now I guess you'll really start collecting. That's right, you can join the rest of us who overspend.
