It's a nice neighborhood I do have some awesome neighbors! I should mention that I live in the neighborhood I grew up in, and a few of the neighbors remember me when I was six years old! Honestly - if I hadn't been walking my dog around the neighborhood daily (usually twice a day) all those years (15!), I wouldn't know any of my neighbors very well, and some of the awesome ones I only met from taking my dog to the park daily (they were also there with their dogs).

Ha!

Honestly - if anyone were to listen, or look, in on me, they would likely die of boredom rather quickly!

A wonderful surprise!

Yes, I did walk a neighbor's dog a few times a couple of weeks ago, and she knows I grow orchids (and admires mine), so she is at the top of my 'suspects' list Tho, everytime I went over to walk her dog, there was already some 'goody' she left on the table for me (home made baked goods, gift card) - but, she is very kind and generous to me, so, she is still my #1 suspect

I like your dog friendly neighborhood. I walk my dogs all the time and I still don't know many of my neighbors, even though most of them are dog owners.

I would post a sign in your front yard next to your mail box that says, "To whomever gave me the beautiful orchid, please tell me who you are so I can thank you!"

I don't know about the whole neighborhood, but I do know a few neighbors who may think of me that way Since I have a number of orchids on my front porch, more neighbors than I know of may think of me as the orchid lady, I suppose ...

Aw, that's too bad. Even neighbors I don't know well, I recognize, and they me, from all that walking by with my dog - even if they didn't have a dog themselves.

Mailboxes in this area aren't at the curb... but, I will probably see the giver before too long - I'm fostering a dog, and walking around the neighborhood again
