I've gone through it, but basically just got through it by stopping buying more, doing the minimum to keep the others growing (watering them, not much other time spent on them) and that's it.

I get it to some extent each winter, but last winter through last summer I found it hard to have the enthusiasm I once had and having a longer commute made it hard to find the time. But through this winter I've been getting more excited by them again, and I've found ways to fit them in to my schedule, and now as spring comes I'm loving them again

I think it can be a phase that passes, and perhaps during that time, just keeping those you have going, maybe loosing one or two to neglect but generally keeping them going, until you feel the urge to really spend time on them again.
