Linking Orchid Societies on OB

Is there anyway we can search people on OB by the respective orchid society that they are affiliated with? It would be really nice if I could see who is joining OB from my local OS!

There isn't a search option for that, even in the moderator options.

Is there anyway to make that type of search happen? I think it would go a long way in helping people meet up with their own local growers; both online and in person.

I will mention it to Marty. I'm unsure if the forum software we use supports that or not, and if it does how much work it would be for Marty to implement, but I can ask

Hi Steve,

Marty has got back to me to say this option IS already available

1. Go the the members list (Top pink bar, Forum Menu, it's the second option along).

2. Click on Search at the top right of the list. On that there is an 'Advanced Search' option.

3. Find the Orchid Club/Society option, enter what you are searching for and click search at the bottom.

I completely missed this advanced option, but I've just found it now.

I just tested it by entering a search for 'Texas' in that field and got you and 4 others.
