I just order a vanda Mokara with Yellow / Gold flowers, its still about a year or so from blooming. I was waiting until I move some time this year or early next spring, but this one I just couldn't pass up

Yep, I got a Vanda Coerulea too :)

How is your Vanda doing? Is it very big? Mine should arrive tomorrow. One is going to be a Christmas gift for someone who loves Vandas, the other is all mine :)

I'd have to take my desk out of my office to make room for that puppy. LOL!

It's bloom size but not big. It seems to be doing well so far with new growth tips on the roots. The seller warned me it has floppy leaves and isn't the strongest but seems good to me. I really like the foliage of the coerulea too how it is lighter with shorter leaves. I can't wait for it to spike someday!
It is a great Christmas gift for someone who loves Vandas, how nice!

They arrived yesterday. No heat pack but they seem ok after traveling in this cold weather. They are very small. There are some long and nice roots inside, they look healthy. I am ordering some 4" wooden baskets for when they get a little bit bigger.

They look good. Mine is a bit bigger than that.
I recently bought a lot of vandas from a great vendor. I am going to in the spring offer the ones I didn't want up! I wanted a majority of the ones in the lot, but not all. Hopefully some vanda lovers will adopt them :)

My 2 little vandas are growing fast. The roots were starting to get bound up in the little inside basket. I cut them free and put them in clay pots with large fir bark and styrofoam. I threw some marbles in the bottom. They have adapted well to the change, so hopefully I can keep them in clay pots.

Something I didn't buy but my husband did was a noid phal. He came home with it, saying "I looked for one that you didn't have". Well I'm thinking "sure", because my husband is VERY color blind and I have a lot of phals. I even accidentally bought one like one that had been given to me as a gift. Well he must have been paying attention because he brought a beautiful peach colored one with delicate orange markings, different from the rest. :)

I've purchased four plants from Kawamoto in the last month, although one is a Christmas gift for a family member
