Not to minimize anyones purchase, but I am getting rid of my tolumnias.

Thanks!
Can I ask why? I'm wanting smaller and smaller plants as time goes on. I'm considering replacing most of my larger oncs with similar smaller species and hybrids. Tolumnias seemed like a good fit for what I'm wanting.

I have an Oncidium Twinkle it smells of floral and vanilla. I am sending a letter to Marc Jacobs because they need to bottle and sell that scent. I would totally wear it as my signature perfume. It's not really spicy hot chocolate like my Sharry Baby, but Oncidium Sharry Baby is a huge plant. Mine is very tall.

I'm a little nervous about them, but I think I'm going to keep them in my south window in my bathroom- sink is right there and I think that light will be good for them (I guess I will harden them up first). So hopefully watering won't be a pain. They look so cute!

Matt, I hope they weren't really nice Cattleya species you got rid of for Fukiran space....

Ugh, the seller I am buying some orchids from on ebay has a Sharry Baby with 4 spikes (Red Fantasy)- I'm getting a Velvet Maroon already...but Red Fantasy! I love those blooms!
I HAVE A PROBLEM!!!! Where am I going to put these? I had to clean out the guest room with an east window for a friend who will be staying with me for a few months so now everything is in the room with a west window. But I don't have any more table space! I guess I should buy a table!

The shelves are adjustable, so you can put your taller ones where you want them and have a shorter shelf for the shorter plants. I have a t5 light hanging over the lower shelf on mine... so you have PLENTY of room for orchids here.

I'm getting rid of my Tolumnias out of personal preference. There are so many other very small and miniature orchids that, to me, are much more desirable. Such as Lepanthes, other pleurothallids, Promenaeas, Stelis, many bulbophyllums, Oberonias, most Dendrochilums, minicatts, rupicolous laelias, Trisetella, and on and on. In the list that I purchased in feb, I think all were minis of different genera.
Like Home Depot phals, tolumnias are all very, very similar, except for color with some minis. I have nothing against them, except the I prefer most other small growers.
I will repost many of my 2014 purchases soon.
