This is my first time mail ordering orchids at all and everyone here gives Hausermann's glowing reviews. I've never seen one negative thing said about them, so I've got high expectations. ![Smile](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/smile.gif)

Just ordered a Cattleya Walkeriana 'Semi Alba'. This has been on my wish list, very excited to get it. I just hope that it is very healthy.

I got 3 phals from Hausermann not too long ago. One of them has stem rot (Although this is probably my fault it looked good when I got it, but it happened pretty quick after I bought it, it is going to die very soon). My Phal surf song didn't have the roots I expected for a 6 inch pot. I have considered cutting the spikes off so it will grow more roots. I would definitely order from them again since I think the rot is my fault (although I am not totally sure) and the surf song is OK too just for the size of the pot the roots were a little sad. I downsized the pot from 6 inch to 3 inch with plenty of room for root growth.

Did you email them? From what everyone says about them here, they seem like the sort of people who would offer you a gift certificate for your trouble.
It's funny how you and I have the same plants on our wish lists. I just purchased Cattleya Walkeriana var semi-alba a month or so ago and I also picked up Phal Surf Song, but I happened to see mine at the local hardware store, with a tag, doing pretty decent, so I grabbed it for 9$.
Did you happen to order your C. Walkeriana from Seattle Orchid? If so, I can tell you that you'll get a healthy plant. That's where mine came from and all of their divisions of this plant were healthy little guys. ![Smile](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/smile.gif)

Yes, I did order my Cattleya from Seattle, they only had 1 and I bought it! I am so glad to hear it will be a good one. I was waiting for their sale to start but they had already sold out. I am glad you were able to find such a good deal on your Phal Surf Song, yes this one was on my wish list for a while too.
And no, I didn't complain to Hausermann about my order. I didn't realize my Surf Song didn't have good roots until about 3 weeks after I got it b/c I didn't repot right away as I usually do. They are not horrible and I can get the plant to a better state. I checked it today and It is now has active root tips. It wasn't so bad I needed to say something. The Phal Fuller's Panda I ordered I am very happy with and as far as the other plant I am not sure that it is their fault so I don't want to make them replace it if not.

Brassia Spider's Gold 'The Orchid Works'
Just arrived in the mail today.
Brassia Spider's Gold 'The Orchid Works' from seller shermantp on eBay. When I saw he had a Brassia in bloom for 'Buy It Now', I couldn't resist!
The plant was perfectly wrapped and in spite of three days in shipment, the only damage I could see was a couple of broken petals.
I have wanted a Brassia for a long time and am so thrilled to have received this one. I had never heard of this hybrid before, but couldn't be happier with it. It is wonderfully scented, having a deep, sweet fragrance with spicy overtones. And of course, those long, speckled, spidery flowers. Simply enchanting!

Finally got a chance to order from Botanica Ltd. I ordered an Angrecum urschianum, Angrecum eichlerianum, Eurychone rothschildiana, and an Angrecum viguieri. They are all happy and healthy more or less, here are photos I took after I got them out of the box.

Hi all--
Well, I'm back...One of our MVOS members was selling off their stock orchids due to health issues, so of course I had to go and buy some things.....
Here's my haul:
Dendrobium cucmenabuy
De. farmeri
Cattleya percivilliana
C. guarianthe guatamalensis
Lc. Gold Digger
Lycast macrophylla
Zygopetalum mackayi
Zygo. Artemis Om 4632
Coelogyne cristata The Queen
Paph. Saint Withins
Oncidium ornithorhynchum
Most are blooming size to specimen size, and all are healthy, husky plants....Hope that they do well for me to keep the Bailey's orchid legacy alive!
