I ordered a Den Antennatum d'albertisii to replace the one that walked off after a group had been to my gardens on a tour. ( the last one I'll ever host ). Its really nice and even came with blooms . I ask my fav. ebay seller ( radar_contact_lost ) to find one for me and he did.

Ah that's awesome that he/she/they did that for you! I'm so sorry people are so rude like that. I hope they get black thumb for eternity for stealing your plant.

I have always wanted one of those dens. But just don't have the space!

Today I ordered two unexpected orchids.
Psygmorchis pusilla. A cute mini with yellow oncidium type flowers.
And Dendrobium oligophyllum, another cute mini that's been on my wish list.
Here's the story. I made a large order with Seattle orchids a while back, and the items were split ship. Most of them came right away, two came a couple months later.
A week after receiving my last two I received yet another email confirming my order was shipped.
Since I didn't order any more orchids I was confused.
Two days later, and I received the same two orchids I had earlier.
I called them up, they accidentally sent me more. They asked if I would be willing to ship them.
I said yes and shipped them the next morning.
Today I received an email that they got the orchids in great shape (happy I watered them before I sent them), and that he added "400 points" to my account. And if I preferred bein reimbursed another way he would do that.
I had no idea what points are. Apparently if you have an account with them every $1 spent= 1 point.
And 100 points = $5 off your next purchase.
Shipping only cost me $8 but he gave me $20 credit.
Which resulted in me placing another order today. The point system made one of the orchids free, so I only paid for one plus shipping.
I thought that was pretty cool.

Hmm... went rather mad at the Malvern International Orchid Show yesterday... though some are seedlings or plug plants. Some are also replacements for plants I've lost... I'm on the 4th try at growing Nelly Isla!
Cyp Lady Dorine
Cyp reginae
Den Enobi Purple 'Splash' (in bloom)
Miltonia Sunset (in bloom)
Lephanthes calodictyon
Epi radicans (seedling)
Burrageara Nelly Isla (plug plant)
Miltoniopsis Newton Falls (plug plant)
Brascidostele Gilded Tower 'Mystic Maze' (plug plant)
Renantanda Samrerng 'Scarlet Red'
Phal speciaosa C1 (in flower, red spot on one petal of each of the three flowers).
Phal NoID (in flower, white with delicate pink spots. I think the vendor had a name, but the tag with it on didn't make it into my bag so I need to check with them).

GAAAH! I told myself not to buy any more orchids till I graduated from grad school, but I caved!
I bought a lot of 5 adult plants from an ebay vendor for 20 dollars! All are good plants but the vendor has been trying to get rid of them all last year. I actually short listed a few. One I bought from the vendor before, but it was the plant that froze to death in Dallas back in November.
