Brassia aurantiaca is the colorful one. That's why I mentioned it first.
The point being, there are miniature sized, small sized, and medium sized Ada (formerly Brassia) and true Brassia species out there. They are not as colorful as Brassia aurantiaca or Miltassias (Miltonia x Brassia), but they are definitely "spider orchids".
True Brassias or even Adas are generally not as colorful as Miltassias are. They just have the shape, but not the colorful punch to grab people's attention. This is why I've always known about them, but never really pursued the collection of them.
The Miltonias are what gives the Brassia intergeneric hybrids that eye catching splash of color.

Maybe it's not quite the same, but it's gorgeous. Still a fairly big plant, and I even like that the blooms only open partially. Thanks King! Another one for the wish list for sure!!

I just ordered Vanda tricolor in a 8 cm pot for 12 euros. I'll pick it up on the next show (last weekend in May). I guess she'll be ages away from blooming size (or not?).

Hi orchidadicto, normal tricolor or alba form? I know alba flowers on less big plant than normal tricolor.
I don't think, anyway, yours is ages from blooming.

Hello Sbrofio. It's the normal tricolor. Thanks for your answer. It gives me hope. It will be my first species Vanda (but hopefully not the last one).

I got these in the mail yesterday, in bloom and all!

Dendrobium Antennatum (with a keiki!)

Dendrobium Hercoglossum (also has a couple of keikis)

Phalaenopsis Amoinensis x Equestris
And I've also ordered a Voylstekeara Yokara.

I "somehow" ended up on orchids-shop.eu, and this is how the damage looks:
Phalaenopsis equestris
Phalaenopsis bellina var Ponkan
Phalaenopsis SOGO Twinkle Abudance
Dendrobium wardianum
Dendrobium tortile
But I've now made a promise not to buy anymore orchids for now, so I should probably stick to that, haha.
