Yeah, I'm hoping for glossy purple, but either way they ought to be some nice looking flowers. Plus he included a bonus plant, same cross, only larger, so that was nice.
I also went to Hausermann's yesterday to get some more potting media, and I only bought one plant, so go me! Nice looking Phal mariae in spike.

New purchases today.
Brassovola Nodosa
Cattleya Walkeriana var. semi-alba
Dendrobium Micro Chip
That's all the damage I did today.... The other orchid shop I went to was closed, so I'm glad I kept it to just three plants!!

I'm waiting for some goodies in the mail.
Otonsia Rhein Blue Baby
Calanthe Ceciliae Triplicata x Masuca Hybrid
And then, I've ordered a Phal Gigantea x Bellina and a Phal Bellina, but those won't be here until next week or the week after.

Digriz, I don't know how you only made it out of there with one. Then again I think I do. I've only been there once and that was my first Orchid Greenhouse ever, I think I left with 10!
This year began my downfall, lol, as I had 5 orchids (2 keikis from mother plant), bought a couple rescues from box store, bought a Paph from Orchid exhibition at Botanic Gardens and then kept going. I should make a point to visit this thread more often as I'm constantly feeling guilty.
Ebay is dangerous for me as there are so many options. I too look at the seller's feedback for the last 30 days to 1 year, paying attention to WHY they may have received negative. I've had 5 purchases, all from different sellers, so far. For the most part only one had somewhat real issues (plant wasn't packed well so suffered some damage including losing all but one bud, then flower proved to be something else, but this ZYGOLUM from what I've learned has a lot of confusion surrounding it, although seller tried to assure me tag was a typo, blah blah), they offered me a discount on future purchase...hmph...
Nonetheless I did just buy Paph. President Fred from seller I got Wilsonara Pacific Passage 'Peach Cobbler'. I wanted Paph. sanderanium x gigantifolium and Venus Knight bad but lost out on the auctions.
Also made first purchase from Seattle Orchids:
Mediocalcar decoratum
Zygopetalum Adelaide Meadows 'Braburn' x Ptpm. Mathina 'Elizabeth
& Ponerorchis graminifolia
:-D

Big question, Kuzuri! Just what do you think that the hybridizer would be looking for with the Phal gigantea x bellina cross? I find it difficult to picture any of the results. When you get the plant post a photograph.

Thank you Reliablefool! I have just checked out the grex and find it worth having. However, my collection would not be able to handle it, much too big.
