I saw that compot for sale. Will be interesting to see what the color the seedlings will be. Since for me it is just for fun, not a commercial endeavor, it seems funner to grow up wild cross.

I'm not certain why, but I just don't allow myself to buy through eBay. I know that many people do, even some of my friends. Could it be resistance wrought by horror stories from the beginnings of eBay? I'm certainly not afraid of buying orchid plants, just the eBay resistance.

I know how you feel. I had my credit card compromised by PayPal and paypal basically told me, "Too bad, so sad." This was in the early days of eBay though. I have used PayPal since. I would only make eBay purchase from reputable growers, like Kawamoto.

When it comes to eBay I don't buy unless they have at least 95% positive feedback. Even then I check their reasent feedback for a month.

I am beginning to consider Marni Turkels eBay site though, Mostly Species, but still resisting. With about 900-1000 plants, I'm not in any great hurray.

Oncidium Jungle Monarch. Bought on ebay, in bud, for less than $24 including shipping! Ebay is very, very dangerous

Photo taken a couple days ago, isn't it nice?

I find that the auction is fun and save me from myself by being outbid. I only bid high if it a seller that I know ie Waldor- I've been to the nursery; for smaller growers, only as much as I can afford to lose.
