I'm happy and disappointed right now.
My recent large orders of mini orchids are perfectly fine because they already have a home.
What wasn't fine is Trader Joe's.
Just when I think they won't have anything left for me.

I have NO room on my windowsill for this guy. Half the reason I switched to micro minis and minis is because I had no room left for standard sized orchids.

Yet I just bought a kingianum for my windowsill. Why did Trader Joe's even have one?
Meh.
It's beautiful though.

It's funny how multiple orders online of hundreds of dollars is fine.
But a cheap orchid from a grocery store is too much.lol.

I have found that Andy's Orchids supplies good sized, quality plants and if their website doesn't list what you want, call them. You will find that they probably have it. Very friendly. I have purchased many, many plants from them over the years. Never been disappointed!

I would be more than happy to take it off your hands. That is a beautiful plant.

The five species listed are all first-class, fairly easily to easily grown, except the Lepanthes teliponiflora which is, to say the least, refractory, but growable. The Angraecum will easily grow into a large plant, mine has way overgrown a 6" teak basket. How about Dendrochilums? No mention of them here.

Oh, that is just fabulous! I can't wait to see pictures of that one bloom but, for once, I'm glad that you can't include the smell!

It will be a while before I get to smell that "wonderful" aroma. The longest leaf is supposed to be 12 inches. Not sure it will bloom for a while.

Bulbo phalaenopsis is a large growing plant, but it is quite manageable, provided it is supplied with sufficient water and humidity. Requires good light and temperatures, too. A member of my society bloomed one recently, but he babied it shamelessly. Bulbo nymphopolitanum smells just as good, but on a smaller scale.

Remember the Phrag. Schroderae I got at the Philly orchid show?? I contacted the vender and after more than a week it turns out that it was Phrag. Grande.

OK. Back to topic here.
Bought a Neo. Flask and Ascofinetia Moonlight Firefly.

Just looked up Bulbo phalaenopsis. Why would someone want something that smells that way when in bloom?? Good luck with that one Daethen.

Just at the Phila show last week. Bought many miniature growing plants from Andy's (bulbo species) and Ecuagenera (Lepanthes telipogoniflora).
