I went to your website, pressed the sign up for email subscription, but I could not enter my email, it would take me back to the preview page when I touch the rectangle. I do everything on an iPad. I use Safari.

Any chance of an Android version of the app? No offense but with a industry share of 50%, Android is a far more accessible platform than Apple IOS which now only has a 25% market share of products.

Hi Michael: Yes, I'll be sending an email with further instructions once the Beta is ready.

Ron: For an Android version, it would actually be a difficult undertaking, requiring hundreds of hours of development, testing, and ongoing support for the thousands of combinations of Android devices available. I'd have to rewrite the app from scratch - it wouldn't be a simple rebuild.

The two major issues with an Android version are having to support 1000+ Android devices with several dozen operating system versions, and the worldwide sales tax accounting nightmare (Google doesn't handle this, unlike Apple). This is one reason why so many Android apps are ad-supported.

I don't see either of these issues being addressed anytime soon, so Orchid Album won't be coming to Android. Sorry!

Here's a screenshot from the photo grid view in Orchid Album. Tapping on a photo takes you to the detailed information view (and more photos) for the selected orchid:

Don't allow upper case on species names first letter (iPhone always suggests upper case letters for the first letter)

Take ,Genus species' by default for plants name
