Which Camera to carry to Tamiami,Fort Lauderdale ,tapie shows

Hi,
Seasons greetings to all.
Five of us going to the shows from 16.1.14 to 28.1.14 my question is which camera Canon 7 DSLR or Nikon Coolpix 16 Mega Pixel camera? The reason is my 15 inch Mac book Pro fell and it is damaged,have to carry it to Apple stores to get it fixed.

You need to figure out what your priorities are for bringing a camera in the first place. What images do you want to photograph and once you have those images, what will you do with them? A lot of people--vendors, participants--would not care to have their images taken because of potential posting on the Internet.
