Well, no photos yet... but here is the list of what's new and noteworthy this month:
Currently still in flower:
Masdevallia unnamed orange hybrid - been flowering since summer.
Masdevallia veitchiana x cucllata - 2nd flower on the flowering stalk is just finishing up now.
Coelogyne fuliginosa - just started flowering.
Phal. 'Pink Panther' - still in flower on two spikes. Not sure about the name, but that is what it was sold as....
Phal. (Sogo Lisa X Taisuco Firebird) - still in flower - so pretty! Though the flowers are picking up more pink now as they age, so the nice orangey colour has changed.
Dtps. Tony - bought in flower, simply beautiful!!
Things to come:
Masdvellia tovarensis is ever closer to bloom, I'm hoping it will be this month.
Gastrochilus japonicus - possibly the start of 1 or 2 spikes??? Fingers crossed!
Sedirea japonica - along with the spike which started last month, a new leaf is starting. Not sure how long this takes to get flowers from the start of spiking... Anyone know?
Dendrobium tetragonum - still growing... need to get pics of this one. Some are definitely buds, not sure if the others are new growths or buds? Hoping Sue can help me tell for sure.
Epicattleya Black Comet - three p-bulbs maturing, and flower buds forming. Now that Encyclia cochleata is Anacheilium, do you still call these Epicattleya?
Anacheilium Octopussy - not long now!!
Epidendrum pseudoepidendrum var. alba - buds!! I can't wait to see this one open, as I ordered pseudoepidendrum, however it was labelled Epidendrum paniculatum when it arrived. Hopefully when the flowers come, I can determine what it actually is.
Rhynchostele rossii - 2 flowers about to open any day now... can't wait!!
New arrivals - I'm so excited!!
Phrag. pearcei
Phrag. Silver Rose
Phrag. Saint Peter 'Cornish Cream'
also, Dtps. Kenneth Schubert x Phal. tetraspis 'C1' - this is starting a new leaf and has a great root system. I can't wait to see flowers on this baby! I found photos of Phal. tetraspis 'C1' which make me drool!! ->
