There's Sanibel Moorings Botanical Gardens that has orchids. I'm not sure if they sell any though. You could call and ask. There are several places in Naples....you could do a Google search. There's "Sundance Orchids and Bromeliads" in Ft. Myers which is closer to Sanibel. There's also Orchids Amore which is also in Ft. Myers. You going to Sanibel for vacation? I hear people are finding GREAT shells right now!

Thanks everyone!

Yes, a long overdue vacation. I was just talking to my neighbor and they go to Fort Myers all the time and she commented on the shells too, lol... I will have to check out those places! Thanks for the recommendations!

The only one I know of is Sundance Orchids and Bromeliads. They bought Bill & Susan Fender's orchid business when the Fenders retired a few years ago. If you go to Ft. Meyers make sure to visit the Thomas Edison museum and home.

I love Sanibel! Anna Maria Island is nice too! We've had a lot of storms this year so they've kicked up the sand on the ocean floor and the big shells abound! Just wiggle your toes around in the sand and you'll find those shells!

I found the biggest horse conch shell I've ever found this summer just snorkeling. Take your snorkel gear and have a lot of fun!
