Default Dorothy, I don't know whether to say thanks

or what to do. I figured there was a list out there somewhere. Also, thanks, rsfrid for giving me a book idea. I love my orchis, but there is just something about one that smells so wonderful. On the other end of the spectrum, I have smelled some that were like the rotting flesh and I hope if I am out looking at orchids at any time, that people will give me the benefit of the doubt and tell me if I pick something like that up, before I buy it to tell me. (You know what those orchid buying frenzies are like)

I have a Vanda Mimi Palmer and it has a very strong fragant. Smells like heaven. And it's not on the list.

A very easy dendrobium to grow, is den crumenatum, the dove orchid. It flowers when there is a change in the weather; well it does in my garden...
Another easy and well scented orchid is Cat, Slim Warner.

Cheers, Bobj.

Amongst the stinkers the my #1 is Bulbophylum fletcherianum (rotten flesh)
Where can I buy (on line) a Cattleya Schroderae? I live in North Alabama (SE USA) and there are are no vendors near me. Thanks!
