Miss that site.

Terrorchid.org has helped me a lot.

I just had an email from Fred about the Terrorchid site. He's currently looking for a new hosting plan and then hopes to set everything back up again. He can't give a deadline but he's aiming for the end of the month.

Well that's great news. Hopefully he hasn't lost any content because there was an amazing amount of info on there.

Default Geeks down again

Looks like the orchidgeeks.com site is down again since sometime last night. Oddly, when I try to go to the site it actually downloads a file containing the php coding for the page. I know it's not just my computer or browser as I tried it on Chrome running on a winXP virtual machine at work and on my Mac in Safari and Chrome with the same results.

EDIT:

Hmmmm, http://www.orchidgeeks.com/forum/ - which is my saved bookmark - causes the php file to download, but if I instead enter www.orchidgeeks.com/forum/index.html

I get:

Orchid Geeks will be back within 24 hours..

Thank you for your support!

Same here. I'm so glad I'm not the only one having problems though (yeah, I'm selfish).

I'm not sure my earlier note is relevant to this outage as by further probing I find the .html file with the "back in 24 hours" message was last modified in 2010:
