I am sad to hear about this happening to you since I have seen you post of magnificent blooms on your threads. I have always been a buyer on Ebay but I never sold anything so I don't know about your misfortune.
People are just ignorant.....when one gets bareroot plant one must immediately soak it then repot it immediately....its a given....

latest update: paypal has refunded the man who ordered bare root plants his money out of my account. he has not returned the plants. lord knows what he has done to them in the three weeks he has had them....after this, I will never trust paypal with anything....they are poison!
ebay has assured me that they will cover the cost of the plants should the man refuse to return them however. I don't know how true that is. or what their policy will be if the plants are returned damaged. its all been so enlightening on ebay and paypal practices for sellers....you are really on your own there. no guarantee of payment, or protection against fraud and theft. I do not recommend anyone deal with ebay or paypal.

I dont use ebay and I dont use paypal and I dont do business with vendors who dont have other options than paypal. Pfffff on the whole lot of em. The internet is the Beast you have all been told about

One thing that irritates me is the fairly large chunk of profits that eBay and PayPal take. Is there an "Orchid eBay" that's fair and no PayPal? Do it the old fashioned way, send checks.

The thing that irritates me is that eBay owns Paypal so they're effectively double dipping on your sales.

I've been selling and buying on ebay for over 13 years and watch ebay become a rip off on there charges. They need to go back to letting sellers pick the way they want to get paid. I liked when buyers would send me check, money orders it made my life a lot easier. but between ebay, pay pal and the post office I can't make any money so I now sell only from the store and get better money and less nasty buyers who want every thing for free. life is better with out ebay some days. Just my 2 cents worth
