A Few New Orchids
Default A Few New Orchids

I got rid of some plants that I grew tired of and picked up some new ones in bloom/bud.

I like the change.

Here is the list:

1. Paph Majakun '#7' x Paph Hilo Green 'Perfection'
2. Paph Hsinying Citron '#15' x Paph Rowland 'Green Tea'
3. Paph Faiirieanum 'Red Swan' x Paph Hsinying Rubyweb 'Spotter'
4. Den Laevifolium 'Red' x Den Laevifolium 'Aurem'
5. Miltoniopsis Lillian Nakamoto 'Tanto'
6. NOID mini phal
7. Cattleya Samba Splendor (from last week, but opened this week)

I can't believe I bought more paphs as I had decided not to get any more maudiea unless I see the flowers so I know what I am getting.

Well, it was very difficult to resist when I saw nice bud with beautiful leaves.
Two of them are beautifully mottled and the leaves are much larger than any of what I have. I can't wait to see the flowers.

The tiny dendrobium is very interesting and new to me.
One leaf had some spot issues and I trimmed it off.

5&6 are the same varieties I got last year but I gave them away. I saw even better ones of the same kind, so I jumped on them.

The cattleya has beautiful color but no fragrance
and only one of the four flowers opened fully. oh, well...

Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

You have some very nice looking orchids there. I love those mottled leaf paphs.

That little den is adorable! It almost looks like a cuthbertsonii. And the miltoniopsis is also really nice.

Enjoy them!

The NOID phal had a tag but it was hard to read what it says.

Thank you, all.
