Not always. Some growers print on the tag they are dyed but I have seen a lot where I live that don't. I think a lot of people who are buying their first orchid or just buy it because they want something to decorate their house with don't look at the tag right away too. People who buy them for gifts probably don't look all the time either. A lot of people go on looks. It surprises me that so many people don't read things like tags, labels, and directions! I'm the type of person that always reads directions and labels.

I do like hybrids but I just appreciate and like the look of a natural orchid better. That's why I don't like the dyed Phals. I would never buy one. If I got one as a gift I would keep it but I would like it better when it blooms white.
