The photo was taken at a park in central Taiwan. Without noticing their flowers, they look like weeds.
In subtropical or tropical regions, they could be grown like other outdoor plants.

I took mine in the countryside along a little travelled road on The Big Island of Hawaii. Groing in local soil.

Those photos look like a cultured version of the orchids I photographed in the wild. Fertilizer and proper care would explain the difference in appearance. I'm sure it's the same. I know you can buy starts from growers on the Big Island. All they do is go out and dig something up or take cuttings and root them. They're pretty hardy and may even grow out in your yard down there.

Thanks, Dave
I wish my HD carried such an orchid .. all they ever seem to have is phals, dendros and an occasional oncid.
Yours is a bamboo orchid .. I found this site and the flowers look identical - Orchid Photo Gallery: Bamboo Orchids
Arundina graminifolia is also known as
Arundina bambusifolia
Bletia graminifolia
and
Arundina speciosa
as per Detailed information on Bamboo Orchid, Bird Orchid Arundina graminifolia
Oh, I have found some bulbs here - Bamboo Orchid Plant

Dave, I have some in my yard and they are doing well.
They look like mini catts. I bought mine at one of our local HD's.
