Talking More Spikes

These are going to be some awesome blooms.

The Eny Highland Canary has 6 spikes and I'm hoping it will be blooming by our show. I plan on having it judged for AOS.

The Phrag Cahaba Jim Bailey and Phrag Cahaba Whirlpool are first blooms.

The Paph Honey is a first bloom. I've had that plant for 4 years. It was a gift from Early Bailey at ORCHIDbabies for helping him at our show.

The Phal. Aubrac 'Greencote' x (Coral Isles 'York' x Macassar) will be the first bloom. The last spike blasted. I can't wait to see how it looks. It was a cross made by Dr. Pridgeon (I think) who has passed away. He donated a large portion of his collection to the Memphis Botanic Gardens. I have been nursing it back to health for 2 years.

The best thing about orchid shows is that they are free to enter! I LOVE that considering that my other hobby, horse showing, costs a fortune.
