Got a fun little shipment of bits today, including my first foray in the world of vandaceous orchids. As usual from this supplier everything came looking super healthy and bigger than anticipated, I see myself gradually acquiring a lot of his plants :P

Thanks, These guys are such good value though so I like to shop with them, that big Aranda is a foot and a half tall and cost me $15, which for Australia is a great price(when you consider that our noID chain store paphs are $30)

On that note if anyone has any tips on the vandaceous ones feel free to share, I don't entirely know what I am doing with them LOL. I put them in the baskets in a 50:50 mix of loose large coco chips and coarse bark.

Yeah I thought about reselling my excess and it will be a lot easier to resell paphs than phals, they are much more sought after and demand a much higher price. Plus I'm still only marginal at success growing phals so I'll wait until I've got my phal culture working a bit better first
