I almost got the Newberry Sunshine when I ordered but went with the new Phal. Taipei Gold cross.

Great buys for sure though.

Maybe we can compare the two? I looked at the Taipei Gold x but went with the Sunshine. A comparison would be nice.

I hope I will get a spike this summer from it. The grower I talked to said she expected some of them to bloom this year.

Cool! I have two spikes on mine. The foliage on this plant is lighter than my other phals, closer to a lime or medium green than the rest. The spikes are about 6" tall now and continue to grow.

I hope you get a spike soon!
