Well, in the last month (bday was Nov. 13th) I've grown my small selection by a very large 5 orchids.

I got two from Deerwood Orchids. Ross was great and the orchids were in amazing shape.

Paph Tropical Magic (primulinum x henryanum).

Apparently Ross has had this one for at least 6 years.





Paph (Mary Zdilla X Little by Little 'War Eagle' HCCAOS

This beauty took the brunt of the fall the other day. Lost two leaves and will likely lose the third.






I got two from Carter and Holmes and they are both amazing as well. Tons of loose dirt in the box though which made a huge mess.

This should give great yellow flowers and should bloom this spring/summer. I really need to clean off the water spots.




I also have one more coming tomorrow in the mail and I will post it tomorrow.

Those are great gifts. Birthday is a great excuse to increase an orchid collection. Congratulations!

Here is my other one. Onc Twinkle Red Fantasy. I got it from Angel Orchids in Maryland and Wayne was awesome. He has two more in bud if you guys want them.

I hope you had a nice birthday. Those are nice, healthy looking plants. I got orchids for my birthday, too. The mail was extremely slow and 3 weeks later they arrived. Amazingly, they were in pretty good shape, though a little dehydrated. I only ordered one, but the nice lady sent me 3!

Very nice Bday gift, I like the twinkle Red fantasy, there one in bloom at the garden center near me, but its not for sale or it would be at my house

Nice gifts, and you should order from Peter! I agree that birthdays are a great excuse to buy orchids, and I'm glad my birthday isn't during Canada's annual ice age!
