Hey Ross
I didnt know what a drac is but I think I might have one.
It looks like your photo with two spikes. I was told mine is a Star of Bethlehem and blossoms around xmas.
Anyone recognize this name?

Hay Joe

I wonder if you might be talking about Angraecum sesquepedale? Folks do refer this to star of bethlehem orchid. A photo of it would help.

Ross you are clicking that camera today aren't you?

How about Sorry for focus quality but this is shot through the Orchidarium wall and the wall is a bit fogged from misting. I promise clearer photos as these guys come into bloom. There is one long flower spike visible in center of plant with a shorter (newer) one immediately below in pic. The third is on other side of plant.

Yes. This is my second attempt at this guy - the first one rotted away. This one was TC with my project 4 Aerangis. This one appears VERY happy

I agree you got success going on there for sure.
Why did it rot on you? I have this on my list for next spring - I'd like to avoid some of the pits falls.
I feel I'll learn alot from you guys about this orchid, til I get my own

I keep mine in my terrarium. I tried it upstairs in my other grow area, but while buds developed and flowers partly opened they never finished. Andy suggested higher humidity. By then, the plant was suffering. I would recommend the same vendor as our Project 4 plants. Their stuff comes pretty large. While it appears to grow ok in drier conditions, you may have problems with blossoms - but try it and we'll compare?

This is what whole plant looks like

Thanks for the info Ross
Ook I'm alittle scared off by the high humidty factor, do I sound like chicken? Ok Fine I am!
Sounds like a miltoniopsis deal

I've thought about doing an order from a US vendor one day - Ooo who knows maybe I will. Although the orchid we are discussing I can get it here in Canada.

Ummm not sure about this one, Ross
