Headed to NY

I found this year's NYBG orchid show to be mostly phaleonopsis and so I thought it a bit pedantic. I was hoping for some a more extraordinary display. Alas this year was the first time I had gone to the show. I really miss the NY orchid Show that used to be a the Winter Garden and then Rockefeller Center. Is it ever coming back?

the Rockefeller Center Orchid show was cancelled this year....too bad it is the only orchid show where the entrance is free; it is open to the public
