Default New discoveries on vacation?

We are going to see family soon in Ft. Pierce, Fl. I can't wait to visit Odom's Orchids for the first time. Has anyone else found someplace new this summer to fan the flames of their orchid addiction? Stay-cations with internet discoveries count too.

My wife has a business trip to LA in October. I'm going along so I can go to NORMAN'S!

Along on US 1 north of Fort Pierce is McKee Botanical gardens. I don't remember the name or exact location well though. It was a great place three years ago, so I think should still be worth the looksie. The American Orchid society is south of Fort Pierce along I-95. Not sure where but I would say within two hours travel time.

Nothing quite as exciting or interesting, but after being without a car for a few years, I was happy to go to a couple local OS shows and sales, and the San Jose Orchid Exposition! I had some nice chats at the SJ Orchid Expo with some of the sellers I believe it was Andy's brother from Andy's, Bruce Rogers (The Orchid Whisperer, OzOrchids, Bruce Rogers Orchids) - his enthusiasm is awesome! and he convinced me that I REALLY NEEDED a Sobralia) , and a couple others that are escaping me at the moment.
