Orchid nurseries in San Francisco, CA? Female
Default Orchid nurseries in San Francisco, CA?

I will be visiting San Francisco soon, and I'd like to visit an orchid nursery or two. I'm mostly interested in species, and some hybrids too, if they're not too common. I currently grow a lot of different types of orchids on my windowsills and outdoors, ranging from phals to catts to dens to vandas. What I don't want: NOID orchids or huge space hoggers.

I'm also interested in regular nurseries, if you know they carry decent orchids. I thought I'd mention this because last year, I dropped by a local garden center in Portland and came across a pretty rare pleione species! Too bad the pleione died, but that's another story...

I already did a quick search online but there are so many nurseries, so it would be great if you could help me narrow down the list and point me in the right direction.

Thank you for any ideas!

Hanging Gardens. Hawk Hill Orchids. Golden Gate Orchids. All within the same general area from each other.
