Talking My newest Phal

Forgot to show you guys this little one before. Since I just had to have a Phal with variegated leaves after getting rid of my big and ugly one, I managed to find and purchase a Dtps. Sogo Vivien 'Golden Vivien' from Orchideen Lucke. This guy also has striped flowers, but I can live with those because they are small, so that's one gigantic minus removed that the former Phal had.

The only minus with this very small and adorable Phal is that my other with variegated leaves had a better colouration on said leaves, but one can't get everything apparently. I'm very satisfied with this little cutie, and I hope it'll like living with me.

LOL Mutant. I seem to remember everyone was drooling over the 'big and ugly' one in another thread! Your ability to decide what you like is sort of refreshing and sort of scary at the same time!

PS: if you like leaves like those, I've seen some Sedirea japonica's with leaves much the same...

In fact, here you go... New World Orchids Sedirea japonica

Too late to order for their trip to the UK this year though. I don't know what show they are going to.

(We'll get you off phals and paphs yet! LOL)
