Thumbs up

when you look at some of the alternatives instead, you quickly realize that being an orchid obsessed one step away from the cuckoos nest addict is not the worst thing we could be doing with our money time tears and sweat.
Its the endless supply of bark charcoal sponge rock moss fertilizer fungicide gadgets trinkets baskets hangers wires clips etc etc etc that eats me up. I dont have any trouble buying orchids.
and GAS? oooo hadnt heard that in a long time!!!..my other obsession is guitar stuff Im down to 3 guitars from 7 but I just bought a new mesa lonestar amp for them. The guitars been turning into orchids. I can only play one at a time and dont play them much, anymore. My Old hands are tired and grumpy and getting knots on my knuckles. Getting harder to play.

I dont see orchids and the eqpt needed as being too expensive anymore. I see it as therapy that I dont have to go sit in a Dr's office to get treated for

I sit in my little garden and often think what a wonderful thing it is I do grow these orchids. Not a lot of people do this or can do it or want to do it. I even have to say at times, seeing them, my eyes full of Big shark tears of joy they make me so happy. People do not do this for me anymore.

and this is how to cure a paph jones you go get a pile up that all about to bloom out!!!

As I am sipping my coffee looking at those Paphs I can't help but have a huge grin on my face!!! Lovely, it makes the heart happy to confirm what the eyes see.

I bet you are a blues player and you write your own songs??

It is a beautiful thing to share a joy. Thanks for your honesty. And those fabulous Paph's. Good job!!!!!

I'm so glad I'm among fellow addicts that understand my need for these wonderful plants.

I was unlucky during my shopping spree; the fans had sold out and the humidifier I bought didn't even work for one minute before it broke.

Tomorrow I'm going to return the humidifier and purchase a better one online.

It's hopeless to resist, and I might as well spend part of my vacation bonus that I got only 3 days ago....
I recognize that... I swore that I wouldn't buy any more orchids until I had refilled my savings, but four little Paphs have been ordered. Oops.

What can I say, my birthday is coming up so I thought I should splurge a bit on myself (as if I haven't done that enough already).

This is a habit that I do not even intend trying to kick. I spent another $100 this week.

I spent almost my entire bonus on orchids. LOL. At least I got one otherwise I would have spent the money anyway. It was just nicer to have a surprise bonus to cover the cost...oh wait, does that mean that I can use the other money to buy more??
