Very nice job on both repots. Your George looks like it belongs in the Phalzilla category, right next to my Phal equestris aurea, which I repotted exactly the same way you did Georgie, except I didn't put mine into sphagnum because me and sphagnum don't work together.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that Mr cornucervi doesn't blast any buds!

Thank you The_Mutant. I am not very good with sphag in plastic too, but it works wonderfully in clay. In fact I just moved George into clay pot because noticed that after a week the bottom of that plastic pot was still too wet to my liking. However cornucervi looks fine, its fat roots suck the water out of that moss nicely even in the plastic pot.
The bud is still on!

Nice repotting jobs, and seeing your pics makes me realize what crappy sphag I use. Looks nowhere near as nice and fluffy. Guess I should order good stuff online rather than buy the sphag bricks in garden centers.

Thank you Camille. But mine is from the brick too. It is the pressed one, that you need to add water and it expands.
