I can imagine that the flights eat money! I'm so glad my family lives within bus-distance (it's only a 35min ride), otherwise I would seriously struggle money-wise.
Unfortunately, pets cost money (if you want to be a good pet owner that is) but they are so worth it (even if they have a tendency of not cooperating when it comes to the chids!).
I agree! Being an adult sucks! And it's definitely nor for me.
Lucky me though, I have a nice and pretty cheap flat that I'll never plan to move from. I don't think I could take living in a student room!
My ego is too big and needs to have plenty of space to move around in.

It sound dreadful being stuck in a dead end job (I'm trying to avoid getting into that situation myself), good thing you have your orchids and your dog to come home to.
