I love the one orchid a month plan. . .cha ching, $50.00. But oh boy how much fun to look forward to a new plant every month! I would only be able to do this for ONE month. . .then I would really spring into action.
I'd move into option number two too, buy TWO orchids a month and "save on shipping". . .probably racking up $75.00 a month during the following months, two & three.
I can't wait to see pictures, whatever plan you decide upon.
Oh wait! If you get two orchids this month, and two next month, then you could finish up in December by buying just one. . .or even better have someone give you that last one. . .thus saving on shipping and thus getting one freebie. OMG! I am a genius!

Googling your list & wondering:
How can you tell what hybrid you are getting if you order the "phal. javanica" from Dowrey? Is hybrid the right word?
Look at all these!

P. javanica is a species, what variety is the question. I don't know, but I also am not picky about the variety. I read on the order form that I must have a minimal of 2 orchids per order. So I went ahead and ordered the P. chibae, P. deliciosa, and P. gibbosa.

Better than my 'order in MULTIPLES of three' rule!
I've got one more order to come this year (six more plants) and then, like Tin, I'm done until next year....

Hehe, yes back to the order of three. Which means next month I'll just have to add one more species to the list.
