Glorious sunshine for a change!
We've had a beautiful few days here in dark, dreary, Ireland. It's normally cloudy, dull, and wet - all year round. Being South African I find this particularly depressing.
However, today I happened to have the day off of work and I spent the afternoon with a beer in one hand and a spray bottle in the other. I brought all my orchids out onto my balcony, sat them in the sun, and gave them a good soaking. They sat there looking glossy and green and very pleased with themselves! I then spent ages giving them all a good clean, wiping all the winter-apartment dust off.
Needless to say, it's been a very satisfying afternoon. So how did everyone else spend their afternoon (or will spend depending on your timezone)?

Working... Through an emergency evacuation of the office, fires, power surges, computers failing, and other stuff to name the highlights...
So, why don't you crack open a beer for me and I'll be there in spirit!!! LOL... I'm already dreaming of it!
Seriously, spuds wonderful. Enjoy!

Noon here at the moment. My gardener fired up the smoker and I'm smoking andoille sausage and some falda for bacon.
While that's smoking I need to take a stick and pound the daylights out of some white beans that are finally dried and pick some okra and cayenne peppers. It's gumbo day.

Bud: Didn't the cold temps affect you at all? When I saw the projected temps for the NE I thought of those of you who have already gone into spring mode.
Today it was warm and windy in the AM. Then it clouded over in the PM, still a decent temp. I have decided to wait till the middle of April to bring my orchids out of the GH. I am bringing out my Platyceriums already.
