An arm and a leg .
I have really exhausted my finances this time.
My next haul from Ottawa show in April should be much leaner.

Phal. Princess Kaiulani is such a nice one. I often drool over it, but only seem to find hybrids of it here.
That Ecuagenera order grew unnoticed. I was browsing their website for several months during winter and adding stuff to the shopping cart one by one. Didn't even see how large it became until it was time to pay.

I will take a nice individual picture of it on the weekend and post it.
It is still not fully opened and I am afraid that it maybe stalled because of change of conditions. The spike with flower was hiding under the leaf, I moved it up for the picture and left it there, Hope it will be OK. I am so good at blasting buds and wilting spikes .
Also the moss seems too old in the pot, but I guess I shouldn't touch it until blooming is done, right?

Great haul! I've been thinking about the Montreal and Ottawa shows for next year. I have enough airmiles saved up for one of them. Our society organized a trip to H&R nurseries (Hawaii) and that took some serious overtime and saving up for. It was worth it!
I'm intrigued by your St. Swithin. I have 1 about that size (got it as a small seedling). It hasn't formed any side shoots yet, and I have no idea how big it should be before it's considered blooming size.

Thanks Ezil. You should definitely visit one of them. Even though Montreal is two and a half hour drive from us, I don't miss their shows. My husband is getting used to the fact that he needs to drive me there twice a year - March and October and that it usually is followed by some substantial spendings .

I am pretty much intrigued by my St. Swithin too, it is my first multi, have no idea what is considered the blooming size.
When I inquired about it via email, she told me - good sized in 5.5 inch pot, so I figured it was a good buy. I didn't expect to see 4 growths plant.
They look like two large ones far apart with small offshot each, maybe they are two plants?
Folks at SlipperTalk are suggesting to re-pot it so I could check the roots and everything. I am going to do so on the weekend and am very worried that I will kill it.
