Thanks guys!
I am very new to photography. Got DSLR as a gift from my husband over a year ago and was shooting on automatic settings with default lens and flash, because was too lazy to go through the manual.
This year he gave me a macro lens, a flash and a video tutorial. That pushed me a little bit. I still use half of the auto settings, but change the exposure and set the aperture (not sure if the spelling is right) priority.
It does the job for me. Macro lens makes a big difference in the focusing on details - they come out sharp even if you are shooting from far away.
Using tripod would be even better, but it is too awkward with lots of people around at the show.
