Thanks very much, all!

Ross, I am just stunned! Your Encyclia tampensis is AWESOME! I can NOT believe you've got three that great!

Wonder how long it will take my little sprig of a plant to get as large as yours? What d'ya think? Three years? Six?

It's official. I am an orchidaholic. So I am sure you can imagine how happy I am about getting a couple of new plant racks for the office!

Oh and today, I bought a little carnivorous plant. It's one of those $5 "Little Pot of Horrors!" I call it the gnat killer! Good luck my little pesky friends.

It's hard to say. I've had Encyclia since the 80s. I've never started from such a small plant, but I did start from a division approx 6-8 pbulbs (as best I recall). They can be quite fast growing once established. They grow pretty-much year 'round. Lot's of light. In full sun here in Michigan leaves get all purple but it still thrives. Mine are in south window behind window screen.
