I am moving to Denver, CO soon. I know that it is very dry there. Will I be able to grow orchids in my home? Are there some types of orchids that do better than others?
Where there's a will there is always a way. It's all about experimenting and finding what works well for your plants. Try to research what your orchids need to thrive and then replicate that in your home. Most people start with phalaenopsis, paphiopedilum or other beginners orchids. Welcome to the orchid board.
Welcome!
I'm sure you can grow orchids just about anywhere. May depend on how much you are willing to spend on equipment like growing lights, humidifiers, fans, etc. Hopefully someone here from Denver can point you in the right direction.
