Virginia OS show pix
I dug up an OLD account with photobucket where I posted the approx 30MB of pix (93 total) of the VOS show last weekend.
Here's the link; http://photobucket.com/Virginia_OS_show
Most pix have names (just touch the pix with the mouse) but the ones that don't are self explanatory or of whole displays. Every display there was a centerpiece and only natural light from the greenhouse.
Enjoy !

Got 2 Gongoras, both in spike. I posted the G. flaveola that bloomed already and I'm waiting on the other species Ecuador that's almost ready to open.
Thanks, Rosie !

Some very nice displays there. Always amazes me how some folks not only have the room to grow some of those huge specimen sized plants but then find a way to bring them to shows without damaging them them or getting a hernia in the process..

If you're talking about the Schomburgkia undulata, I agree !!! I talked to Janet from the Floradise Orchids and we were right that it took almost a whole van to bring it to the show !!! Those spikes are almost 6 feet long !!!

Oh right, I remember that one! I didn't know that it was from this show. I'm amazed at your self control, what an achievement to only come home with 2 plants! I always come home with at least 5 new ones....

Who was selling the Gongoras? It's times like this when I wish my eyes weren't so bad. Yeah, that Schomburgkia undulata was insane! I have a photo of my girlfriend standing next to it. Mind if I post my photos from the show on this thread once I'm done editing them? You got some good photos of one's I didn't even see.
