Smile My 'therapeutic' orchid order is here! :)

In another thread I mentioned that I was getting more orchids, and they arrived today!
Long story short, the first half of November was beyond shitty for me and I was such a mental mess that I ended up leaving my mounts soaking 5 days. over half have since died from rot. I was so depressed over it that I NEEDED to get more orchids!

2 of the new arrivals are replacements: Haraella odorata (with a spike nubbin) and Podangis dactyloceras.
Still it's a bit sad to see a 2 growth Podangis, when my ex plant had 6 growths, and had no less than 11 spikes last spring.
I also wanted to get a new Gastrochilus japonicus, but I removed it from the order since mine is starting to show some signs of recovering from the abuse.

The other 2 are Phal Purple Martin (has been high on the wishlist for years), and Masdie Copper Angel. The Masdie is temperature tolerant, and according to the grower it will bloom its head off and grow to specimen size quickly. It's in bark now, but I think I will move it to sphag in a clay pot.

Aw Camille I hope you're feeling better these days. Thank God for our plants, huh? Mine have helped me through some pretty rough patches for sure! Beautiful plants, too! Plant therapy rules!

The plants look pretty healthy to me, and a fair size too. That masdie will indeed become a stunning specimen in time. Unfortunately I don't have space for that size plant anymore, or other wise I would have one too. Enjoy the new comers.

I've never ever had any complaints about this grower. Perfect, flawless, plants every single time, and at a really good price too. And he does an amazing packing job. No heat packs, but there are so many layers of newspaper and bubblewrap that there was no way for them to freeze.
