New terrarium Masdies have arrived!
Here are some pics prior to them getting put into their new home
Masd rolfeana was dropped as soon as I took it out of the box but survived It is now in a tiny little 2" planter that I came up with.
The Masd schroederiana is mounted.
Both have new growths...don't know if they are or will become spikes but they're both healthy and gorgeous!
Thanks to Andy's
I'll post more pics once they're in the terrarium

Okay...they're in!
Clockwise from the back left corner:
Masd rolfeana
NOID Tillandsia (on wall)
Bulb odoratissimum
Masd schroederiana
Den loddegessii
Paph hainenanse
and
Macodes petola
I didn't realize until just now that they're all species!
I removed the Ludisia discolor, it didn't seem happy
Going back in the big pot outside

I have mine in bottom of my orchidarium and it is very happy. Wasn't sure at first because it gave me fits, but it has big, thick, hairy roots and has doubled in height. Maybe you want to reconsider and give it a chance to get acclemated?

So nice, Sue! Those look great - and your tank looks fabulous. Lots of contrasts - and they're not even in flower yet! I'm so excited for you! Happy, happy, happy!

Nah...my Ludisia is filling a 14" pot right now and is thriving. I gave it a chance in here and it showed signs of stress. It's a rather small tank so if it's not happy, they're not getting a second chance.
Leaves more room for another new one

Very nice Sue!! Great work and I love those Masdies. My M. rolfeana surprised me today with 2 well developed buds. It only took 7 months in the viv
You know, come to think of it, I haven't visited Andy's orchids as of late. better go by and see whats up
