Thanks Ezil. I grow all my vandas in vases and it works great, I even was able to bloom V. Robert's Delight myself (very proud :)). I water them everyday giving a good soak.
Sorry about dracula's leaves, good that it is coming back.
I put my drac and masdie in the large glass tall vase with seashells and water at the bottom. Hope they will like it. How do you grow yours?

Thank you Bud. I used to do it twice a day, but now with my schedule changed- don't have much time in the morning. I soak them once a day after work and they seem to be fine. I will see how it goes further though. Maybe I will need to go back to twice a day.

Camille, thank you. I wanted C1 for a while too and am very happy to get it. Sadly the bud on the violacea just dropped, I hope spike will stay green and produce more buds.

Looks like those are spikes (seems like there are bracts along them), but they look like they may have already bloomed. I don't know if these bloom off old spikes or not.
In any case, once these guys get going they're spiking machines!

Even if they don't bloom on old spikes, I will keep those while they are green because I think they look cool :).
I read that haraella likes humidity, so I put it in a glass bowl with some moss around. Do you think it will work?:

Even without spikes it definitely looks blooming size, I think it's even larger than my plant! (which has bloomed before).

Nice vase, though I can't tell you how well it would work since I have limited positive experience with this orchid.
(I don't have ideal conditions for it, so few blooms. My new terrarium should help) As long as the sphag in the net pot still dries out quickly I assume it should be fine.

It seems to do best mounted too. I will look for tiny piece of wood and maybe will dare to do my first mount. Until then I will make sure moss dries out in the pot.

I like the haerella in the vase. I have given up on them since the ones I had all bloomed themselves to death (maybe I'll try them again at a later date). I grow in terrariums of different sizes. My pleurothallids are in a converted reptile tank and fish tank - one warm/int. temps and the other intermediate. My phals are in a converted reptile tank as well. I also have some glass bowls (check the web site for Orchids in our Tropics, under potting) inwhich I'm trying to grow some masdies. So far so good. I like to experiment.

Those Growing Globes look so cute on their website. And you can hang them too!
I wonder if my phals feel too dry and that's the reason of blasting buds on species. I like the idea of tank, but all the tech stuff with fans etc. scares me.
