Glad you enjoyed them, I must admit I am quite proud of some of the photos. Especially considering the Battery in the camera was on it's last legs, so I could only risk a couple of shots per plant. Otherwise I would have taken a lot more

It is well worth considering joining a Orchid Society. Each society may vary on how they organize themselves, but it is a fabulous way to meet people other folks into their Orchids.
I was amazed at how friendly and humorous the folks were. There was also a lovely older lady who gave me a selection of old AOS magazines to read. She said I could keep them, but I believe once read I will give them back for the Societies Library! Another Couple, who live near to me, also said I should pop round to see their set up and get ideas. This offer really stuck with me, because of how I like to live my life. It's so nice to be among community minded people!



And I know there's at least one member of this Society who is a member of these boards. So if you read this (you know who you are! ) Thank You for being part of a day that made my husband and me smile brightly and laugh hard!

Oh they were lovely Paul, and the scent from the Cattleya section was astounding!

Also: It's official now, I have finished my on-line application to become a member, now I just have to wait for confirmation Even ordered a badge which I will wear with pride!
